The Southern Ohio Adult Soccer Association (SOASA) is pleased with the announcement today of FC Cinicinnati's addition to Major League Soccer. The explosion of support from the tremendous Cincinnati community for an ambitious team is not surprising given the long history of the game we love in this sports-mad corner of the world. SOASA has supported the Blue-and-Orange since before their first kick at Bellbrook High School.

Article 9 considerations notwithstanding, we are delighted to be home to what we hope will be a long-standing, in-state, derby between two teams at the top of game in the United States: Columbus Crew SC and  FC Cincinnati. FC Cincy's ascension can only strengthen soccer's roots in the heartland of the United States.
